Red Wine Edmond de Rothschild Chateau Clarke 2016. It is recommended to open it an hour before serving. Château Clarke is named after the Irish family who bought the estate in 1771. After more than two centuries of winemaking, in 1973 the property was acquired by Baron Edmond de Rothschild who dreamed of owning a small and intimate vineyard of which he would make his masterpiece. With his strong passion, he has managed to make Château Clarke one of the most prestigious wineries in his appellation. Edmond de Rothschild Chateau Clarke is an elegant blend of 70 % Merlot and 30 % Cabernet Sauvignon with a completely original Médoc typicality. The proximity of the Atlantic Ocean brings to the terroir a freshness that is found in the aromatic brilliance of the wine. A terroir that proves to be very favorable to the cultivation of the Merlot grape variety, in a region more traditionally known for the production of Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine shows a beautiful red color with purple edges. The nose is filled with finely roasted aromas with sappy cedar scents, and notes of blackcurrant and black cherries. On the palate, it is dense, rich, and straightforward quickly revealing silky and delicate tannins. There is a beautiful freshness and a long finish that is both tasty and sugary. It’s clearly a food friendly wine and works deliciously with beef.

Red Wine Fasoli Gino Amarone Valpolicella Corte del Pozzo 2016. Seductive crushed blackberries, sweet baking spice and cherries soaked in brandy delight the nose, while the palate offers a firm full body, soft tannins and concentrated flavours of wild forest fruits, cassis and raisins. This well-structured wine has a bold personality which is best paired with hearty dishes like pappardelle with venison ragu or rigatoni bolognese. Amadio Fasoli founded the family winery in 1925 when he began making wine for local bars on his fruit and vegetable farm in the Illasi valley close to Verona. Today the fourth generation of the Fasoli family lovingly craft this magnificent Amarone from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes which are grown by local grape farmers who have been working in partnership with the estate for decades. The flagship red wine of the Veneto region, the Fasoli’s Amarone is made by drying the grapes in small wooden boxes for 5 to 6 months following the harvest. The wine is then fermented and matured in oak barrels for at least three years.

Red Wine Errazuriz Kai Carmenere 2016. Zdejší dobře propustné aluviální půdy a blízkost Tichého oceánu napomáhají vzniku nádherně zralého a zároveň vyváženého ovoce. Po ruční sklizni ovoce kvasí v nerezových tancích a dubových sudech a mladé víno zraje 22 měsíců v 70 % nových sudech z francouzského dubu.
