The grapes come from the proprietary vineyards located in Rioja Alta, on the Golden Mile located between San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Briones, and San Asensio, grown respecting the ecosystem as much as possible to obtain the best fruits and following the principles of agriculture as ecological as possible. The 100% native Tempranillo grapes come from the estate’s vineyards, over 30 years old, located at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria in Rioja Alta. The company produces high-quality wines, which convey the typicality and essence of their land, knowing how to enhance its qualities and using the least interventional techniques possible throughout the production process. Their commitment to organic viticulture led them to create the Vega Vella range. Produced with 100% Tempranillo grapes selected and harvested by hand, from over fifty-year-old vineyards, located at an altitude of over 500 meters. The malolactic fermentation takes place in new American oak barriques, to preserve the color and structure of the grapes. The wine then remains in new American barrels for a minimum of 14 months and completes the refinement in the bottle for more than a year. In the glass, bright purplish red tones with subtle ruby reflections stand out. On the nose, the wine reveals pleasant aromas of black and red fruit, with hints of coconut, vanilla, and spices. In the mouth, the ripe fruits return with intensity followed by toasted notes. It is a complex, elegant, well-structured wine characterized by powerful tannins. It is delicious with red meat or game and perfect with venison served with chocolate sauce.

Corte Medicea is a project carried out by the Piedmontese company La Bollina, managed by the talented oenologist Andrea Bernardini, who deals with finding quality plots hidden in the best Italian regions and brilliantly combines tradition and modern techniques creating wines that perfectly enhance the regional typicality and the strengths of the land. The Corte Medicea Atos is a pure Merlot wine. The vineyards, located in San Casciano dei Bagni, in Tuscany, grow between 380 and 400 meters above sea level. The terroir is characterized by clayey soils. After the manual harvest, the grapes were transported to the cellar. It is left to macerate for four days and then ferment for 14 days. The wine is then aged for 18 months in 225 liter French oak barrels. Only 10,000 bottles of this cuvée were produced. The color is intense, purplish, very dark. The bouquet is surprisingly rich in aromas of ripe cherry, creamy oak, vanilla, black plum, white pepper, without losing a hint of balsamic. On the palate, the wine reveals a mosaic of seductive and different flavors that only a Tuscan Merlot of this type can provide. Power is associated with finesse, fruit with elegance, velvety tannins with pleasant vivacity. Everything is perfectly balanced. The long finish is worthy of a high-class wine.
